WIDOWS

Now she who is a widow indeed and who has been left alone, has fixed her hope on God and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.

Mission: As we gather together to strengthen encourage and comfort one another with our faith, hope and love, may we all become stronger and wiser in the arms of our Lord.

Action Steps

  • We are widows of all ages grieving the death of a loved one

  • We share God's Word from our hearts

  • We support each other through the grieving process

  • No widow goes through this experience alone

  • We provide physical, emotional and spiritual support through Christian fellowship

  • We pursue our called ministries

Book Study

Along with serving in various ministries within the church, the widows also participate in a monthly luncheon and book study. Currently they are reading through The Undistracted Widow: Living for God After Losing Your Husband by Carol W. Cornish.
